FREE TECH WORKSHOPS

More workshops coming in 2023

Do you want to get involved in theatre, but not sure being on stage is right for you? Or have you been on stage and want to try something different? Here’s your chance to join our backstage/tech crew.

BAMS Theatre's current tech team are running special 2-hour workshops in September designed to introduce you to the wonderful world of theatrical lighting and sound. It will show you just what it takes to get a BAMS’ production from script to stage. Suitable for people with some experience, or those who are completely new to theatre looking for an exciting new hobby. 

Age range: 15 years to adult.

Location: The Centre, Beaudesert.

Our workshop includes:

• An overview of the different backstage and tech crew roles

• How our tech crew prepares for a show

• Analysing tech requirements of recent BAMS’ productions

• A tour of the backstage area and bio box

• Fun, hands-on lighting and sound activities.
